we don't need to win all of them over - just 1, 2 or 3 out of every 100. That's certainly very achievable.

I think we can do both. Yes, we need to do a better job of turning out on our side. But, we had about the same overall turnout as 2012 as Clinton got about the same votes as Obama. However, Trump got 2 million more votes than Romney and Stein and Johnson got 5 million more votes than they did in 2012.
And, we need to find out some way to counter the folks at Cambridge Analytica
