Russian Connection?

Regarding the Wire Tap allegations: Is it possible that some element in the U.S. Government had Russians like Sergey Kislyak under surveillance and that a Russian Agent contacted actors in the Trump Campaign via phone? By which I mean, maybe Russian Agents were being observed and these Russians made contact with the Trump Campaign. Might this explain the Wire Tap allegations?

If so, Trump was not under surveillance, but a Russian that contacted him or his People was. So, there might have been a legitimate investigation that had recorded something out of Trump Tower. I realize this is a remote possibility, but it is something I have not seen mentioned. It is my understanding that our Intelligence Services regularly have Russians under observation.

And in today's world, where there's a tap, there's probably a tape.

I suspect all this chit about the bugging (or taps) is chaff to preemptively defend himself for a tape that will make pu**y grabbing feel tame.

I believe he simply read the Breitbart article and decided to rail about it to his Twitter followers.

Off course what you say is possible and may even be probable, but Trump is saying Obama was personally committing a felony by tapping Trump Tower conversations. He is getting the attention he wants and will continue to Tweet outrageous things to continue stoking his fragile ego.

I am not trying to defend Trump by any means, of course. I think that his accusations against Obama are heinous. That said, I think Trump thinks that anyone in Government who is not one of his stooges is working for Obama. So, if there were a legit wire tap from some U.S. Agency, in Trump's mind, these U.S. Agents are somehow working directly for Obama. This is a dimension of Trump's paranoia.

Frankly, I think it exposes Trump's megalomania even more. Also, if there had been some surveillance, it is better that we know about it ASAP to prevent the Trump people from using it to their advantage. I am just interested in the truth and don't want to be ambushed by unknown information. So, the possibility of a Russian Connection is an hypothesis that might need to be investigated.

Thanks for the Links. My feeling is that this stuff will not get sorted out unless/until there is an Independent Prosecutor/Investigation. Where there is smoke, there is fire. I think that this issue will be continuing for some time. We really need some good journalism on this. Would you recommend any sources? Anyway, thanks again for the Links to those Threads.
