(9,808 posts)We call those felonies, and it seems there are some family resemblances: Friedrich lied about his habitual criminality, exploited women, and called himself honest, humble and diligent. Also, for a 1905 letter, that's unseemly sucking up, even in a world where sucking up to monarchy was still the norm.
Unfortunately, the prince of Bavaria did deport him, and unfortunately for us, the US took him in.
Sorry, not a lot of sympathy for a family with a multi-generational history of gender exploitation, aversion to legal work and habitual dishonesty.
