classified investigation focused on Trump Towers looking at money laundering, probably by Russian banks. Not directed at Trump. Trump, being the idiotic blabbermouth that he is, tweeted about "Obama wiretapping!!!" taking classified information and broadcasting it to the world, therefore letting everyone know about it and that Sessions leaked FISA information. Obstruction of justice.

Somehow I missed the story that Sessions told Trump about an investigation into money laundering. I am endlessly amazed at how dumb Trump is.

The distinction here being that the President himself was the target of the investigation, and was barred by law from access by any source.

I don't know. This is constitutional lawyer material.
