Watching Melissa Mc . . . . er . . . . Spicer's daily briefing. Keep your eye on Margaret Brennan
She's been around for a while, working for CBS. She has reported from pretty much all the world's hot spots, from the State Department, even traveling with SecState. She's worked for CNBC and Bloomberg, has won awards, and is, in short, a serious and sober reporter.
She is now CBS' white house reporter.
She gets a close-in seat and gets called on regularly at the Daily Bullshitter. She asks clear questions, has very little frivolity in her exchanges, and presses her point. I am beginning to see a bit of Dan Rather in her.
Keep an eye on her. I have a feeling she could be a news breaker. She's pretty persistent with Spicer on all this investigation/wiretap/Russia stuff they try to avoid discussing at length.
