(TPM) The Fuse Is Burning: Chain of events TODAY - mixing together Assange, Trump, Farage & Spicer

3. Some time after noon in London, Farage emerged from the Embassy. Buzzfeed photographed him and asked what he was doing there. Farage refused to say. “I never discuss where I go or who I see.”

4. A short time later, a source with the UK Independence Party, the party Farage until recently led, confirmed to The Independent that Farage was meeting with Assange and had met with him for about 40 minutes.

5. This afternoon UK time, Assange holds a press conference discussing his new batch of CIA documents and promising more revelations.

6. During Sean Spicer's daily press briefing, an AP reporter asks Spicer about the Farage/Assange meeting and whether he carrying a message from President Trump. Spicer basically ducked the question. But when asked specifically whether Farage was "delivering a message" from Trump, Spicer replied: "I have no idea."

that Farage was carrying something when he went in but did not have it when he left.
I'm at my desk and can't look it up but I think I read it here at DU this morning between 8:15 AM and 9:15 AM.

They never should have given Agent Orange classified briefings.

What struck me as odd was that Nigel could have handed Assange a thumb drive. No one would have noticed whether he had something like on entry but not on leaving.

Speaking of connecting dots, I feel as if I should have set up a board on a wall months ago so I could just pin each day's revelations up.

Is he getting tired of being blind-sided by any chance? A little press-sec-style tantrum for not being briefed?

Maybe after meeting with his lawyer he's drawing in some exposed parts.

If there'd ever be a weak link in any dodgy dealings (UKIP's own filching of EU funds is currently under investigation), he'd be it.

Watching with great interest.

and I had concerns that the administration was leaking information, I think I would come up with the most outlandish story and see if they'd bite on leaking it to assange or others. Set a trap and then burn their asses.
