They have acknowledged that there are problems with ACA and it needs some tweaks to improve it. They should put together the fixes in the form of a competitive offering to the RepubliCare offering by the Repugs.

Then the CBO could score both and the American People can evaluate the comparison.

This would put the Repugs on the defensive and allow the Dems to point out the deficiencies in the Repug plan.

Spicer made a big deal about the size of their bill in comparison to ACA. I read the ACA bill from cover to cover. It was very comprehensive because our healthcare system is complicated. The writers of ACA virtually thought of everything. All aspects of our healthcare system. The Repug offering - in my opinion - will be very deficient. They put it together hastily and they can't even defend simple questions from the MSM.

6. IMO, they need to push TriCare for all

Non military would pay a different rate then military retirees/dependents. Medicare/Medicaid would stay the same. The TriCare website looks like every other insurance website. We could roll it out by regions, as TriCare is already set up that way. Get the insurance companies out of it altogether.

Right now the Republicans are saying Obamacare is imploding. Nobody is contradicting them!

Dem leaders should put out an upgrade or patch, or whatever positive way it could be described. Nothing will happen with it of course, but it will sit there as an alternative to the mess in the replacement proposal.

While I agree that the Dems need to stand for something and make their arguments clear and simple, right now watching the Republicans is like watching toddlers on a playground. Let's not intervene and just let the little things run around in circles, spouting nonsense, until they tucker themselves out. THEN the grownups should take over.
