Well, I have more news for Donald Trump. If he thinks this past week was "tough," wait until he experiences this coming week. If he thinks he needed a "pause" after last week, this week's going to give him "pause," I'm sure.
Donny, it's all about to start coming down around your ears, and it all starts this week, when Comey gives his testimony to Congress. If I were you, I'd start planning a much, much longer break. Maybe you should give Vlad a call and ask him if there are any luxury dachas available to trade for your Trump Tower penthouse suite.
Keep your TV tuned to CSPAN, and keep your bags packed. That's my advice.

Could be one whale of a rough day.

(12,448 posts)After all, he was largely responsible for Dump's election. However, although he demands loyalty, he gives none. Comey risked his reputation before the election and all he gets is a FU t-shirt.

It won't go well for you if you do. Your next travel destination should probably be Moscow. Seriously. Sincerely.

(51,053 posts)disappointment, and I am beginning to think that the incontrovertible mountain of "coincidences" that prove collusion will always be just deniable enough that they won't bring him down.
I really hope something comes out of this that drops the anvil on this monster's head.
We have Congress frightened. If we could neuter Trump, I would begin to see a light in this tunnel.

(146,338 posts)of course. I'm not sure the open hearing is going to be the place where the bomb is dropped, though. There will be too many opportunities for those testifying to claim that classified material can't be discussed. We shall see, though.

(23,166 posts)He wont tell the truth because he was part of the collusion, the traitor. I'd be so shocked if he actually delivers the real goods on drumpf. He won't go along with the idiotic "wires tapped" because that implicates him, but I'd be 100% shocked if he tells the truth about drumpf and Russia because I believe he's part of it. i'd like to be wrong, but all signs point to Comey being politically compromised.

(5,815 posts)have to work before they get a vacay. This lazy bastard seems to think he can jet back and forth between D.C. and Mar-a-lago 3-4 times a month on OUR dime and we won't notice. And by the way, you jackass, calling it the Winter White House or the Southern White House won't trick us into thinking you're going to be working while you're there. Time on the links doesn't count as work.
Don't get me wrong. I never begrudged our former and much missed President Obama a moment spent on vacation or going to Camp David and other places to relax and refresh himself. But he worked and more than earned his ANNUAL vacation. He was in residence in DC most of the time. That applied to his family as well. They had a home in Chicago but opted to move to DC. I don't think President and Mrs. Obama would have ever suggested that she and the girls continue to live in Chicago, especially once it became clear it would be at such a tremendous financial burden to the taxpayers. Not so tRump. It has never dawned on this grifter that he should move his family to D.C. They should have worked all of that out way before he decided to run for the Presidency. It is obvious they never thought ahead because he never expected to win. It was all just a big PR ploy to him. Then Russia got involved and everything changed.....EVERYTHING! 😳

(22,976 posts)His (and his part-time wife's) need to "go home for lunch" every weekend is a gushing money hemorrhage. As usual for Repugs, they tap the till for their own personal benefit, rack up a horrendous tab, then "socialize" the debt, i.e., the sucker taxpayers bear the cost of this wretched excess.
Get. Him. Out.

(90,865 posts)....to be just no damn fun after all. Instead of having the unquestioned powers of an emperor, he is being checked at every turn. Instead of continuous cheers and smiles, the populace is marching in the streets with nasty signs. Instead of a compliant and friendly media, in his opinion they are all just being mean to him. Foreign leaders aren't laughing at his buffoonish and mean-spirited humor, either.
But at Mar-a-Loco, he has a little world built in his own image, where members pay insanely expensive fees just to be near him.
I'd feel sorry for him if he were not destroying my country.
