Refusing To Obey The Law And Provide Medical Care Is Criminal

These governors who refuse to obey the law by not providing health care for people who qualify are criminals. What is particularly cruel is the idea that these governors will not let their constituents have Medicaide, when they have no other alternative to protect their health.. A type 1 diabetic who needs insulin will not live long without medication.

I guess it is ok if you are a Republican. They can flout the law with no consequences. What is really sad is that a lot of people support them and vote for them. They are no better.

People with life threatening diseases who could not move to other states who would cover them, simply died.

According to the ACA, if states don't set up their own exchanges, the Feds will go in and do so. I think Jindal figures he'd save his state some money, refuse to set up the exchange and force the Feds to do it. Then, like the aid money he refused and then had his picture taken accepting the check, he will pretend the exchanges were all his doing in the first place. Not that he has the best interests of his citizens in mind, but just a way to force money out of the Feds for his state that he can use for his own PR purposes. But, unfortunately, while he plays this game, there will be real people suffering real health issues who don't have the money to pay the exorbitant health providers fees.

Unfortunately the USSC decision doesn't move the date up for full implementation of the act. It will still be 2014 before we see the full benefits of the act.
