4. I would say obviously that those are not the good parts.

The story is hopeful since one person started talking to him and then helped him. Today, he is a member of society who has a good place to work and live.

7. Exactly. ONE person ended up getting so many others involved.

Without that ONE person, the others may have never done anything or even thought about it. Now, those people will likely see things differently from here on out

And the fact that this one person ended up getting dozens or even hundreds more involved in the community, who may have never been before.

We need government protections and a strong,
inclusive social safety net in order to be a good
decent country.
