I could see Trump telling Sessions to "unrecuse" himself and take control of DoJ and perhaps to fire Comey. I could see Boente being demoted and fired for allowing Comey to reveal the ongoing investigation. I think if any of these things happen, Trump's presidency is toast.

Yesterday Comey gave himself job security. I think it is more probable that he cleans house. Get rid of advisors and possibly Sessions. Appeals directly to the public saying the people he trusted lied to him to push their own agenda. Apologize to Hillary and Obama. He'll be like a preacher confessing his sins. He'll pivot to his base. He'll throw them lots of bones.

The repug congress will have to go along in the hopes that this is the only way to save 2018.

He might even put Garland back up for Supreme Court.

He'll be in total save the deal mode which means anything and everything is on the table.

Either that, or he doubles down. And things get ugly. Really ugly.
