The problem with losing credibility...

... Is that I wonder about the timing of the electronic devices ban on airliners frim the Middle East and North Africa. Is this an attempt to divert the news?

The ban affects large hubs in the Middle East and North Africa, and only airlines from the region, including Qatar, Egypt Air, and Emirates. For an interesting take, read this:

What also makes no sense is why a laptop should go into the belly hold, where it is not checked as carefully as cabin luggage. Lockerbie was in the Belly, not in the cabin.
