Republicans, in general, do not believe there is anything to the Trump/Russia allegations.

Either they have not informed themselves or there is another reason?

With so many lies and secrets about the Russian connections, how can it be just a coincidence?

How can Republicans simply overlook such evidence?

They seem to think it is only Democratic partisanship, angry at the results of the last election?

They are deeply embedded in their political philosophy, to the point of no return. If there is any crime at all with the Trump/Russia connection, it is the crime of eavesdropping on an American citizen, General Michael Flynn. They are not looking thru the same prism as are the Democrats.

Which means, there cannot be a fair or impartial investigation. It must be taken out of their hands.
