So far, he is refusing to provide any opinion about any settled case that Feinstein has asked him about. His primary response: the case is settled law so it makes no sense to disagree with settled law. Also, if he provides any opinion, it signals future litigants.
This guy is so smooth and smarmy. It's quite a performance.

He was nominated by an illegitimate so-called president under FBI investigation, during an election campaign, for a position stolen from another judge by the majority who are voting for him.
He absolutely does not deserve to be confirmed, yet I'm quite certain he will. /Sigh, I really hate this country.

(40,212 posts)He seems like one of those lucky people born with privilege, intelligence, and good looks. All of that in the same mixing bowl gets you far without having to explain a lot.
I'm not saying that any of that makes you a bad person, but it doesn't do a lot for one in the humility department.
