Neil Gorsuch is slick.

I would vote against him on principle, but I see no way of stopping his nomination. If there is a plausible path to stopping him I would favor it. However I don't see one.

He is also making Trump look normal for choosing him. I watched the Cabinet hearings and Gorsuch comes off better than any of those nominees.

I would prefer we get back to Chump Care and Russia.

P.S. His ideas are antediluvian. He can't be stopped. Those observations are mutually exclusive.

This is a done deal. I think they will get the vote.

We need to stop th dismantling of the ACA, let FBI/NSA do their job and get proof on Russian ties.

He comes off exceptional, in my opinion. I understand we are all angry over Garland, but this is why the election was so damn important.

There is nothing more frustrating than a grievance that can not be redressed.

I still hold out hope we can wreck Trump's entire presidency.

Is he or she reasonably competent?
Does he or she have any ethics issues?
Does he or she have any overtly blatant ideological dogma?

If so, if not, if not ... Elections have consequences.

I know some who are absolute right wing asses.

I also know some who are solid republicans who are pretty darn good people and pretty darn good judges.

He reminds me of one of ours. He is a REALLY good man, a very fine and fair judge, but is full on board with the republican party.

This guy reminds me of him a lot. I get the sense he will be solid, OK in most areas, but is CLEARLY a corporatist and mostly on board with all of their other dogma, but might break here or there.

Sort of like Roberts.

Given his plus, plus charm, its over ...
