Dying a slow painful death is worse...it wont take many nukes to throw up a nuclear winter

If they work as theorized, you might not even know nuclear war has started.

Imagine waking up in the morning. It's sunny outside. The birds are chirping. Another normal day. Except the power is out. OK, no big deal. Grab your cell phone. It's dead. Won't even turn on. That's funny. You know you charged it. Lets see if you can charge it in the car. Car won't start either.

OK, things are starting to get strange. Your neighbors are walking around outside. Their phones don't work and their cars don't start either. No TV, radio, internet, anything. No authorities out and about to explain what's going on (not that they know).

Soon, the water stops running. OK, now it's time to get scared.
