Appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel Live TV show, Allen discussed his attendance at President Donald Trump’s inauguration, and said of Hollywood: “You’ve got to be real careful around here or you’ll get beat up.

“If you don’t believe what everybody believes, this is like Thirties Germany.”

...maybe college is too hard. She might be better at fixing leaky pipes. There is nothing wrong with good conservative views - I conserve water and energy. I want the government out of the bedroom. I support the second amendment's call for a "well regulated militia." I wonder what views she feels uncomfortable expressing in public?

All those things you just said you believe in? Odds are she doesn't believe any of that. Her problem isn't that her her political conservativeism is being challenged; her views are NOT conservative, they're crazy. It's that her CRAZY is being challenged that has her in a snit. She's mad cause she thought she was gonna go to college and get to think whatever nonsense she wanted, and didn't realize that she signed up for a place where there are right and wrong answers. Republicans seem to believe that the purpose of everything that exists is to validate their own sense of Self, no matter how deluded. She is wrong. In a functional democracy, being a stupid citizen is NOT a Right, and that Republicans think it IS, is why our Democracy is very close to NON-functional now.

... I have no sympathy for this girl. She comes from a culture that sneers at and mocks anyone who demands equality or fair treatment (Snowflakes! Libtards!) but then turns and whines that the nonsense she believes in is jeered at.

Probably got a bad grade in finance for insisting cutting taxes for the wealthy boosts the economy (it doesn't), or perhaps in a law class for insisting nobody should be able to sue large companies for negligent or malicious acts, or in a humanities course for claiming ending social programs for the poor is really the compassionate thing to do, since they're all lazy welfare cheats sucking up 99% of the federal budget and the poor military is being starved.

You know if you are conservative when you are young, you have no heart...the ending part is untrue of course. Smart people are never conservative at any age.

sham.

Well, Michelle, yes, you will be stereotyped or labeled negatively because of your conservative views, because your conservative views have been debunked over the past 40 years.

Now, the larger question is why you don't have the ability or confidence to defend your conservative views. For example, liberals are also stereotyped and labeled negatively in many environments. The difference is that liberals have the confidence and ability to stand up for those views and defend them. Is it stereotyping or negative labeling to call you a snowflake?
