Many in Congress have already seen the evidence of tRump's crimes

Remember the shell shocked DiFi a few weeks ago? Remember Maxine Waters calling them all scumbags, with impeachment right around the corner? John McCain calling for an independent-of-Congress investigation? Lindsey Graham and other insiders saying tRump lied about the Obama wiretaps?

They know. They've seen the evidence, and they've shared that evidence with their close friends in Congress. They are holding back, letting the FBI and Justice investigations run their course, while providing public encouragement that the investigations proceed. You don't hear anyone characterizing these investigations as witch hunts.

They know.

...some are worried about the rethuglican party crashing and burning --and let's face it: if not for the skulduggery and chicanery in the Presidential election, Hillary Clinton would be the POTUS, the Senate could have had a decided Democratic shift and the rethuglican party was well on their way to 40 years of wandering in the political desert;

...some are worried about Congress and other hallowed halls of the US government drug through the proverbial political mud (though some would say that is already in process); and

...some are worried that they might lose their cushy Congressional jobs and *GASP* may have to *GASP* get a real job.

What they don't seem to be worried about is upholding the Constitution of the United States and protecting it from enemies from without and within.
