I've had it with their stupid fucking posts of pictures and the like that I'm sure all of you have seen. Here's me, two minutes ago.
Hey everyone, if you're lucky enough to have a job, good health, and medical insurance, please do me a solid and stop whining about a tax that you won't have to pay. Some of us out here have diseases that preclude us from getting insurance. That's even if we were well enough to work in the first place. The next time Fox News or Rush Limpbaugh talks about a freeloader getting a free ride on your dime, think of me as I wait to see if I will be able to get disability to pay for the disease that's attacking my liver and kidneys (anybody got an extra to spare?). Now if you'll excuse me, I'm a tad nauseated from my chemotherapy medicine. God Bless You All.

(3,056 posts)They LOVED the mandate when it was a republican idea against Clinton's business mandate back in '94, and when Rmoney put it in the Massachusetts law.
It's a shame that we lost Dr. Seuss...I'm sure he would have come up with "On Beyond Hypocrisy" by now.

(10,056 posts)They have a great time doing it too. Well, until they stupidly put too much weight on one side of the boat, and thusly tip themselves right into the water. Then they start crying, begging, and/or demanding that everyone saves them from drowning. Meanwhile the people they were taunting are either dead or too weak to save the taunters and the taunters ultimately drown. Odd how that works out.

(1,957 posts)It never ceases to amaze that the whiners seem to think it's all right for our tax dollars to pour constantly into the funnel marked Constant War as well as always have plenty of extra green to toss into the wind for other countries but they get their hemorrhoids into a twist if our tax dollars goes to our citizens in need.
Between these morons who think being on disability(or trying to get on it) is one big vacation and the idiots in the "we like to take your money when you are healthy" industry but constantly keep harping on you with the asinine question "When will you be well enough to go back to work?" it's a wonder we have not lost our sanity.
All of them act like this is where we want to be unable to do things,go places, not live on meds, rely on wheelchairs, care givers and see far more hospitals, doctors and ER's then they could ever dream in their insulated healthy world of vacations, entertainment and whining about how the unhealthy are using up all the financial resources in the planet!

(24,437 posts)If we have plenty of money to give the wealthy, if we have plenty of money to spend more on the military, if we have plenty of money to pay our Congresscritters, some of whom are just barely doing their jobs, and provide decent benefits for them and their families, then we have plenty of money to help the least among us. The Ryan Budget that cuts more taxes on the wealthy and Medicare while increasing military spending, and, dare I mention, raises the debt ceiling, is the epitome (or end result of their messed up thinking). I don't want to hear anybody squawk about the deficit and/or national debt and demand that we cut social services if we have plenty of money to put towards some of those other aforementioned things!

(11,816 posts)One of my none-to-bright friends posted a picture of Obama dressed as "Flo" from the Progressive insurance company.
I responded "Yeah, how awful is it that we're no longer the only civilized society without universal health insurance. We should be free, like Somalia or Haiti".
And she "liked" my response. So I'm guessing the sarcasm went right over her head
Ironically, this is a woman who couldn't get a life-saving hysterectomy because she didn't have insurance. She had to stop cutting hair (which she does well, and enjoys) and get a job at a convenience store chain in our area which offers insurance.

(8,053 posts)and she is bombarding my sister and me with emails, trying to figure out why.
My attitude is: figure it out.
My sister told her why, but I'm like "look, I'm not going to tell you what to think or what to say or what to write on your wall. That's your choice to do that. My choice is that because this is your free will and choice to write what you did and make it public, to not deal with you ever again. What you wrote was highly offensive to me and it spelled out exactly your frame of mind in a way you'd never have exposed in the normal course of conversation with me. I am also not going to sit up here and have a protracted conversation with you about what is my free choice to do: end my pariticipation and investment in our friendship."

(793 posts)we all can't really get down to the levels that can really spark the the concrete brains that most mouth breeders use. what you say is nice and most liberals wold cringe if that were sent to them, but these folks really don't listen to them selves and the jumbled idea that have about helping others, let alone what other folks think of them.
But all in all I know why you did it, and good luck.
