We didn't "win". They lost---for now.

The two factions of the opposition---the extreme right wingnuts and the batshit crazy wingnuts---essentially disagreed about how many people it would be OK to kill in order to reduce the tax burden of millionaires. As soon as they work this out, they will be back.
