Trump could actually help Obamacare thrive if he wanted to

Remember: His followers are extremely loyal and will do whatever he says.

And also: He is generally good at branding and marketing

So, if he wasn't the horrible person that we know he is, here's what he could do:

1. Announce that he is "fixing" Obamacare on his own (since Congress failed)

2. Say that the Affordable Care Act is being reformed completely (even though it isn't)

3. Call on every patriotic America to enroll immediately in Trump Gold Health Plans

4. Everyone who enrolls in a Trump Gold Plan gets a personalized thank you and Trump gold coin as a thank you

5. If you are in good health and under 40, you should enroll in the Trump Platinum Plan with even more perks

Then he can just go on the ACA website and change the names of the various plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold) to Trump Gold, Trump Platinum, and the like.

He could put tallies up on the Trump Health Care website. Tweet about it every morning. Set goals for new signups.

This is actually something that would be right in his wheelhouse.

He could have been a great Trojan Horse for enacting policies to improve things for ordinary Americans, and without the extreme polarization that our politics has descended to.
