It's Monday morning and the coup continues...

The chaos in Washington deepens as the career politicians and the mainstream media work hard to persuade the people that there is a normal political process taking place in our nation's Capitol. They are delusional. Nothing is normal in the Trump White House.

It is not "normal" to have such an unstable, secretive, dishonest person sitting in the highest office of this land. It is not "normal" that he has his daughter, who is good at designing purses, sitting in the West Wing with a secret security clearance.

It is not "normal" that his son-in-law is in the White House, acting as an adviser, but making big personal business deals with China.

It is not "normal" that he has a Leninist as his top adviser who wants to totally tear down our government and our institutions.

It is not "normal" to have someone in power who refuses to make public any tax returns or details of business deals around the world. It is not "normal" to have no transparency in our government, especially at the very top.

It's Monday and chaos reigns as the nation depends on a far-right fringe group called the Freedom Caucus to save us from the terrible, destructive plans of the establishment Republicans like Paul Ryan.

We cannot permit ourselves to be lulled into indifference and into believing there is something "normal" happening in our government. It is not.

The coup continues its slow march to success. Our options are less and less with each passing day. We are finally down to our Justice Department. If the FBI and our Congress lose their battle, it is over.

his trip. Surely the oil companies and banks did just fine.

Lenin seized power when order broke down, when workers and soldiers refused

as is usually written.

I'm thinking the current crop seeks to benefit from chaos and anarchy too, to make
it so confusing that Americans can't figure it out.

If they want to report on the catastrophic damage being inflicted upon the nation, its people and its government, then they'd need to pay actual journalists actual money to do actual research and reporting.

If they smile and say it's all normal, then they can report on Melania's outfits and Ivanka's shoes and Trump's hair. It's easy and inexpensive and requires minimal skill, especially since they can simply regurgitate "news" already broken by any of 1000 other sources.

You should make an effort to be sympathetic to the media owners! They're trying to make huge profits, so they can't be held responsible for providing real information.

The EO travel ban? Stopped by the courts, so far.
Pushing thru a steal of money from the health care of citizens to give to the very wealthy & corporations - stopped in Congress due to arrogance and threats and ideology.

Sessions lying under oath to Congress - lawsuit by citizens to hold him accountable, since the DOJ didn't do it.

Naming several foreign agents to be in his cabinet and administration: Intel found them out; one was fired.

A crazy loon as the President? I was surprised to find out that there is no way to get rid of a crazy President. Maybe that's because it's hard to prove, and subjective, so that people would be claiming every President is crazy.

Trump is in the process of dismantling our government (we the people are the government; the govt provides services to the people, using our collective income taxes). He's getting away with too much in this area. How can this be stopped?

I believe we DO have a Russian puppet on our hands. I only hope there's enough to impeach him and get him out of office. I hope there's a smoking gun. I hope.
