Noam Chomsky warns that it is possible tRump may use a false flag terror attack against U.S.

[link:http://www.alternet.org/noam-chomsky-it-fair-worry-about-trump-staging-false-flag-terrorist-attack|

I think it is inevitable that tRump will use extreme measures to save his presidency no matter who is harmed. He told Russia to attack Hillary Clinton and they did. His fury over losing "bigly" over the repeal attempt of Obamacare is clear. The fear he must be feeling about the Russian /trump campaign connections investigation will only amplify as Flynn and others decide to avoid long prison terms by testifying against him.

A false flag attack is something that republicans have said Obama was doing pretty much his entire presidency. With huge concentration camps ready to go to lock them all up. Clearly none of that was true. It's nothing more than an Alex Jones wet dream used to drive up panic and fear in ignorant people. It's fake news on steroids.

But that doesn't mean that tactically expedient action could not be taken to enhance a political position or policy desire. Entrenched fanatics in tRumps administration, especially the likes of Bannon, are surely looking at every avenue to save the sinking Titanic that this presidency is becoming.

The trump campaign militia who are under suspicion and investigation at the moment have the greatest reason to think along such lines. And most troubling, they have access to people who can carry out these kinds of things. Their foreign contacts in Eastern Europe may be more than willing to help save the trump administration.

To tRump, and his minions, staging a false flag attack may be nothing more than a business decision. What are a few hundred or thousand American lives compared to that.

astute on occasion. I know that links are needed. I would not post something like this knowingly without a link.

Jan Frel says "What we need to worry about, Chomsky says, is the potential for the Trump administration to capitalize on a "staged or alleged" terrorist attack."

Chomsky is brilliant, and would not say the words you put in his mouth.

the WH.

This isn't rocket science just observing his appointments, and who is behind him. It is very plausible

When you gather news items for the past two-plus months, you see Trump and his administration making inflammatory statements to North Korea, Iran, baiting them to push back or accept the humiliation from the U.S.

Look how crazed the U.S. was immediately post-9/11: Patriot Act, WMD, etc. Trump wanted to have tanks and missiles in the inaugural parade, for Christ's sake, as if it were May Day in Moscow.

Trump/Bannon would not hesitate for a second to capitalize on a tragic event. They are sociopaths, and haven't a scintilla of decency, empathy or compassion.

Devin Nunes' flopping around on the Russian-influence investigation just buys time. Time for an "event." If this happens, the U.S.A. is officially over. As it is, it's teetering on the brink.
