Peter Alexander reminds me of a young Dan Rather.

I began watching him more closely when he called out Donald Trump on his lies at one of his news conferences.

He was persistent and determined in showing that the President was a liar. When the President attempted to correct his comment by saying that he was only talking about Republican Presidents, Alexander pointed out that George W Bush also won more electoral votes than he.

Perhaps there are still some good reporters out there. Let us help them to continue reporting the truth.

1. We need more like him to step it up and challenge

this administration. I think of all of the hard core journalists over the decades (and really miss Helen Thomas) and hope others will come along.
