Dems - If you truly believe 45 illegitimate, stop working with him
Dems can’t legitimately argue AGAINST Trumps legitimacy, and then argue FOR working WITH him on “reasonable” legislation.
If those in power DO believe he is illegitimate, as the Gorsuch filibuster talk etc. alludes to, then they should not be trying to get legislation passed that involves "working with 45."
I know this goes against OUR normal mindset as rational, feeling problem solvers, but these are not normal times.
Hopefully there will be a time when we CAN return to that mindset, but for now, scorched-earth ....
(( also, we may lose some battles in the meantime ... but we can absorb a certain amount of damage in the pursuit of a larger victory -- we just have to be strategic about that process -- momentary losses in the right direction may be worth it.))
