Rep. Swalwell finally calls Bu!!sh!t ...

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/mar/27/9-11-politicians-russia-attack-democracy

Unfortunately, leaders on whom we counted to protect us have put their loyalty to Trump – whose campaign is under criminal and counterintelligence investigations – over their duty to their country. After lying to the Senate, Sessions has had to recuse himself from all criminal investigations involving Russia’s ties to the 2016 election campaign ...

... In the House, our chairman and Trump transition team member Devin Nunes seems to be running his own intelligence service, receiving classified information regarding our investigation and exclusively briefing it to the president. And now he has cancelled Tuesday’s open hearing – where witnesses had already submitted testimony to the committee – proposing instead to have future hearings conducted in secret.

Enough.

Nearly every Republican leader we have counted on to demonstrate impartiality has failed. The FBI’s important work will continue, but its honest progress is threatened by an executive branch severely penetrated by Russian influence. The House’s investigation is on life support, as the chairman refuses to share with his own committee members the intelligence he is briefing to the president.

you mean the agency of j. edgar hoover?

the same agency that released the info of an additional Clinton e-mail investigation just before the election and said nothing about the trump investigation since last july until last week?

the same agency that allowed giulliani and his buddies at the NY bureau office to interfere in the election?

that fbi?

it is staggeringly naive to expect the fbi to be honest and nonpartisan. it is, at its essence, a right wing organization with a politicized history/agenda. their history is rife with right wing political bias.

....that a full and fair investigation will take place as long as we go back to pre-trump standards. we are encouraged to rely on the powers that be doing their usual slow-walked, hair-splitting, well-parsed investigations. remember bush and cheney together, not under oath? oh, the good old days!

He does believe it. He knows it is true. Not a question of lack of belief but of cover up.

Too slow and read the comments - too much not made public.
Yet Schiff and Swalwell are recommending it.
Your thoughts?

13. Impartiality?! Ha! LOYALTY is how republicans operate. It's a fraternity environment.

Good ol' boys club. You're either in or you're out. Those "in," reap the rewards. Those "out," are looked down and frowned upon. One does not rat out your fraternity brother. You are sworn to loyalty to them above all else.

Websters: loyalty oath: a usually mandatory oath affirming the loyalty of its taker (as to a sovereign, government, or party principles)
