I'm on the same side as Dick Cheney, my world is upside down.

Dick Cheney in India: "no question" Putin "interfered in major ways" in US election. "In some quarters that wld be considered an act of war"

Cheney said Putin had interfered with the U.S. election as part of his worldwide destabilization efforts.

“There’s no question that there was a very serious effort made by Mr. Putin and his government, his organization, to interfere in major ways with our basic fundamental democratic processes,” Cheney said. “In some quarters, that could be considered an act of war.”

Cheney took what appeared to be a shot at President Donald Trump and his Republican congressional allies, who have disputed the intelligence showing Russian efforts to influence the election.

“I would not underestimate the weight that we as Americans assign to Russian attempts to interfere with our process,” Cheney said.

..Cheney is an evil bastard who never saw a war he couldn't profit from. Some actually think, a war with Russia is inevitable and will work to achieve it, and they think they can win. Despite the fact 100's of millions of people will be dead, but assholes like him, will be okay, because in their mind, they are the cream of the crop and deserve the privilege.

So in other words...

Fuck Cheney.

...well not literally...that would be gross... but if I saw someone beating the shit out of him in an alley, this is one of the rare few cases I would pretend I didn't see anything.

The "political" end of the Cold War in the US was not a disagreement on the ultimate end of discouraging the traditional Russian geopolitical goals, but in what may or may not be the most productive way of going about it, while avoiding courses of action that might be ultimately counterproductive.

The part of the script about avoiding being undermined by Russia was never in dispute.
