Devin Nunes Just Gave An Interview That Was A Total Disaster For Trump

The interview video is at the link. I watched it live and left more confused than ever.
WHY did Nunes wait 3 days to provide his explanation??

House Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) ...................

.......................
Rep. Nunes refused to say who cleared him for admission to the White House. He also refused to deny that it was a White House staffer who cleared him for admission. The House Intel Committee chairman said, “Look, Wolf, I’m not going to get into sources and methods and how we review documents and classified information. This happens all over the Executive Branch, and it’s quite common.”

Wolf Blitzer told him that the records are going to come out anyway, and Nunes agreed, but still refused to disclose any information about how he got into the White House and who he was talking to.

.............................

The interview was a complete train wreck. Nunes offered answered to questions that contradicted themselves. For instance, Nunes tried to claim that his source was a whistleblower, but also that the whole process and the intelligence he saw were routine.

Nunes said that he thought what he saw in the documents was in his opinion wrong, but he refused to say that what he saw was illegal.

........................

The old cliche is that the cover-up is worse than the crime. In the case of the Trump/Russia scandal, the crime could be treason, and it is the cover-up that is going to intensify the investigation and scrutiny on Donald Trump.

Schumer: Ryan should replace Nunes on Intel chair

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday stepped up his criticism of House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan to replace him.

"Without further ado, Speaker Ryan should replace Chairman Nunes," the Senate minority leader said from the floor. "If Speaker Ryan wants the House to have a credible investigation, he needs to replace Chairman Nunes." .........

Because he's not smart and because he is obviously frightened that Corsi, Ryan, Dolt45, and his own committee are going to leave him twisting in the wind, he's starting to make a lot of mistakes.

He might be the first party dupe they manage to flip.

I don't trust Flynn as a witness. He's a hardass who knows how to play the game. Nunes isn't and doesn't.

I honestly just think he's really dumb and is in way over his head... Hope the MSM pokes bigger holes in this Swiss cheese...

They are trying to paint the #TrumpRussia investigation as Obama's illegal spying, deep state, a sore loser libtard's coup, a conspiracy of leakers, yata, yata, same old Benghazi political crap in a new package. The strategy is to get the investigation muted as political, to get the evidence thrown out. It is the strategy of criminals who know they have been caught and have no other recourse.

the fake wiretap-puh story, the greater the noise they hope to generate so as to pollute, counter or in any way damage the Russian connection story. So all this Nunes shyte, comings and goings to the White House, and press briefings here, there and yonder are all to feed that noise channel. In my opinion, Nunes is too dumb to even understand the role that has been assigned him.

He doesn't have to say what they talked about, but 'visitor records' for WH are a public record available on OUR white house.gov website.

IMO-He probably met with trump because trump can't/won't read reports or messages and wants face to face meetings so there are no permanent paper/phone records.

This Russia collusion and hacked stolen files USED by Republicans isn't even supposed to be about NUNES.

He was supposed to ask questions, interview suspects under oath- not collude with Republicans to hide crimes. Get someone else to ask questions
