I figure that Trump will probably bottom out at about 30% unless a really big smoking gun (probably a Kalashnikov) is found, which will sink him to Nixon's level. There will always be that percentage of true believers who will never believe anything bad about him. I had a few elderly relatives who, even after the Watergate hearings, the release of all the tapes, and his resignation, continued to believe Nixon had been framed.
