1. THey did want to stop Sally Yates...but he wouldn't take out Schiff. He has managed to

cripple the House Intel Committee and it will probably remain crippled until/unless Nunes is replaced, but he wouldn't impact Schiff; just the committee's ability to function.

2. My thought from day one is that he wants the hearings collapsed entirely to cut down

all the hours and days and weeks of revelations. Hearings from both committees doubles the testimony and doubles the press.

This is WH's way of cutting out at least half of it right from jump street. They just needed one person of ZERO character and integrity to do it for them.

3. I was wondering if Schiff could lend Warner his best investigator. Probably impossible but who

couldn't hope?
