Me first.

trump ran on an "America first" campaign. Ohio U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci, R-Wadsworth, is currently running for governor with an "Ohio first" slogan. Next, it will be county first. Then township first. Then neighborhood first.

Taken to its logical end, what it's really all about is... me first.

when you come right down to it, it is all about "what's in it for ME?"

They don't like universal health care becasue they don't want to pay for "other people".

They don't like social programs for the same reason.

Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid: well, I PERSONALLY DESERVE IT, but not "those" people over there. They are the takers.

Unions: why should Joe over there make good money and have benefits when I don't have those things? Fuck Joe, he doesn't deserve things that I don't have...he doesn't deserve things I DO have.

They want to take the pie and hide it so they don't have to share a single crumb.
