n a fiery speech to the New Jersey Working Families Association (NJWFA), newly-elected Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez blasted Republicans and said their essential healthcare message is “I don’t care.”

Mediaite.com reported that Perez said the marches and protests that have taken place since Jan. 21 are the real spirit of America, not the forces that won Pres. Donald Trump the electoral vote in November.

The protests show that Trump doesn’t “stand for our values,” said the former U.S. Labor Secretary. “You didn’t win this election,” he said to Trump.

He lit into Republicans who failed to repeal the Affordable Care Act saying that whether we call it Ryan Care or Trump Care, the real name of the policy should be “I don’t care.”

“Because they don’t give a sh*t about people!” he said to a cheering crowd. “This repeal was a massive tax break for the wealthy.”

When the GOP members talk about deleting maternity benefits and pediatric visits or seriously discuss disallowing ER visits once they dump millions of people off insurance, they are not interested in the healthcare of their constituents. You know, real flesh and blood people.

When a Congressman will make a crack that he sure doesn't want to lose his mammogram privileges, he's telling us all what he and his colleagues care about. Clue: it's not people. And no, apologies are not accepted.

When The Donald shrugs when asked if he realizes that his own supporters will suffer under the Ryan plan, adding a "sure" for clarity, we can judge him on his lack of concern about the healthcare of the Nation, supporters or not.

Why? Because they do not give a shit. Ideology and 'winning' are more important to these craven creatures, the sort who consider empathy an evil word. Because FREEDOM! Or WINNING at any cost.
