One of them was Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the senior director for intelligence at the National Security Council.
The New York Times reported that the 30-year-old Cohen-Watnick and Michael Ellis, a lawyer at the White House Cousels office who focuses on national security issues, were identified by current American officials as the sources for Nunes intelligence. The White House did not comment on the Times report.
The Times has reported that Cohen-Watnick first found the information while searching confidential reports after Trump accused President Barack Obama of wiretapping him before the 2016 election. Cohen-Watnick then notified Ellis, who then spoke with Nunes.
Shortly after the Times report, The Washington Post reported that there was a third person involved. According to their sources, Cohen-Watnick first gave the information he found to John Eisenberg, the top lawyer for the National Security Council...................

(111,103 posts)2. Why not bring him before the Committee to answer a few questions?
Was it his idea or Michael Ellis's idea to give the documents to Nunes?
Or was it someone else's idea?
Why did he think McMaster wanted him gone?
Does he still have access to National Security Council information?
Does he pass that along to Trump or McMaster? What is his chain of command?

And there is very little infomation online apart from things we already know. Best info I've found so far:
Meet Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the 30-year-old Jewish Trump Aide at the Heart of the Wiretapping Scandal
Close to Bannon and Kushner, Ezra Cohen-Watnick is known for holding hawkish views on Iran and is said to be one of the White House sources who leaked information to Nunes.
Who is Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the 30-year-old White House aide who could be a key player in the blockbuster investigation into Russian ties to President Trump and his campaign?
Cohen-Watnick, 30, who The New York Times reports provided information in the probe, is a once fast-rising protege of ousted Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn with deep roots in suburban Washingtons Jewish community.
The paper identified him as one of two staffers who explosively gave information on intelligence gathering in the Russia probe to Republican House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, a move that potentially compromised the lawmakers role in the bombshell probe.
Cohen-Watnick grew up in Chevy Chase, Maryland, just outside the nations capital, and attended the nearby Conservative synagogue Ohr Kodesh. Last November he celebrated his engagement to Rebecca Miller at the synagogue.
