What Trumped doesn't realize is that Diplomacy is complicated. Just like Health Care, and Global Warming, and negotiating Trade Agreements, etc., etc., etc. The only thing that is not complicated is running your fat mouth; talking tough from behind a span of Secret Service Protection; and sending other people's children to back up your tough talk.

I'm sure that Trump has plenty of fans in Red States wearing their MAGA hats who would love to take Eric and Don Jr's place at making Lil Kim back down. What Trump doesn't understand is that he and Lil Kim have a lot in common. They both are full of hot air, and both just want attention. The US has shown a lot of restraint by choosing not to give Lil Kim the attention that he so badly wants but doesn't deserve, and it pisses him off, just like Lil Trump when he doesn't feel he gets the attention he deserves.

The grownups in the room are dealing with Lil Kim by not giving into his childish behavior. Perhaps if Trump had not decimated the wealth of knowledge that existed within the State Dept before Cowboy Trump came to town, someone could explain it to him. Lil Kim wants the US to negotiate with him and pay him and his broke ass nation not to launch missiles which could reach neighboring countries who are not bothering him, which hopefully they will never do. Because, as we all know; when you reward bad behavior, you just get more bad behavior. At the same time we recognize that the people of North Korea are victims as well, of an egocentric dictator just like the one that Trump praises and bows down to every day.
