Kremlin spokesman suggests meeting between Trump, Putin

A spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin said the leader is looking to meet with President Trump to continue to build their relationship.

Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday that Putin and Trump should "meet each other and exchange views" in order to boost the relationship between the two nations, in an interview with ABC's "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos.

Peskov's suggestion for a meeting between the two leaders comes as numerous investigations continue into Russia's involvement in the 2016 presidential election and into the Trump campaign's communication with any Russian officials.

Trump continues to dismiss any questions about his campaign's contact with Russia. In a tweet last week, Trump declared the "Trump Russia story" a "hoax."

But I thought Trump said there was no relationship?

If the spokesman for Putin said this than I'm sure that those words were very carefully chosen. So apparently he wants to send the message that they already have a "relationship" to "continue".

Very interesting...
