(13,468 posts)This points more toward the guilt of the Trump people than anything else.

(5,271 posts)Poorly written article that doesn't make it clear that it was Trump's WH that Ezra worked for (under Flynn) and Trump's WH General Counsel that told Ezra to lay off his research. (comments from right-wingers show they don't understand who did what and when)
Article does not allege that Susan Rice leaked anything or did anything improper but this is a perfect method to keep the right wing base riled up with false accusations against Pres. Obama and his team.

(11,996 posts)Her requests were lawful, so why deny it?
From the article:
...
But Rice's multiple requests to learn the identities of Trump officials discussed in intelligence reports during the transition period does highlight a longstanding concern for civil liberties advocates about U.S. surveillance programs. The standard for senior officials to learn the names of U.S. persons incidentally collected is that it must have some foreign intelligence value, a standard that can apply to almost anything. This suggests Rice's unmasking requests were likely within the law."

(32,626 posts)it was leaked. Must be kind of difficult to comment about info that Nunes chooses to publicize. If part of it is leaked, can she discuss all that pertains to that intelligence?

(149 posts)Now believes Trump was vindicated and that Rice should be put in jail. They ignore the article saying it was likely within the law.
I can believe that they were concerning conversations, given the disastrous conversations Trump has had with the leaders of foreign nations since taking office. Who knows, they are probably talking about getting out of the UN and NATO and other such alarming plans that could have very dire effects on our relationships with our allies.
