Once again, carrying water for Vladimir Putin and friends. Insinuating via rank speculation that it was in fact the Syrian rebels gassing people and not Assad. Much like it was Ukrainian troops who shot down the Malaysian airliner and not Russian backed rebels because they thought they were shooting down Putin's airplane.
You have to wonder if the Kremlin doesn't have some sort of Kompromat on Robert. It would at least be a logical explanation to see how a one-time award winning journalist for the AP and Newsweek ended up writing puff pieces exonerating Vladimir Putin left and right. I'll never forget how much the long-departed Putin fans here at DU used to cite to Parry at the height of the Ukrainian crisis in 2014-15.
