Lots of old shows are on cable, but how often do kids tune into b&w shows like Andy Griffith, or Petticoat Junction or Green Acres? Us old folks might recognize the references, remember, a lot of young people don't know the first band Sir Paul McCartney played for.

But I've never really bought into that. I was born well after the show's original run yet I've seen it. I was born 30 years after WW2 but I know a lot about it. And Jimi Hendrix exited this world years before I entered it and yet I'm a fan of his music. Anyway here's to Otis.
