Syria resummed bombing runs the very next day as if nothing happened.

FYI no planes on the ground were hit because they weren't there. forewarned by russia who was forewarned by us.

lots of damage, people killed by did absolutely nothing at all to prevent syria or the russians from continuing to kill people.

posted that cruise missiles are not intended to destroy runways, and actually flying aircraft to bomb the runways would have put American pilots and planes in harm's way.
