Cuomo likes to cut programs for working and poor people. His record shows that.

I still follow New York politics since my family is still there. Not just upstate, but in the city and in Jersey.

Can you give me an example of the cuts to programs for working and poor people?

I think he's done a damn good job of turning New York around since the days of Pataki and Giuliani.

His cuts over the years to social welfare agencies are well documented.

but he has literally improved social welfare. I don't get the disagreement there at all..

Can't please everyone, I guess.

I know many NYers who would disagree but that is an argument for another day.

Take care and rest well.

I used to live in her district, years ago.

She is one helluva fighter. I'm certain she'd be on team Cuomo.

If you do you can't claim that state's electoral votes.

He'll automatically alienate every gun owner around. If the dems want to win they need to run somebody like Bernie who won't rally the Republicans to all go out and 'vote to save the second amendment!'

Won't bear much resemblance to 2016's three candidate race. I'm not real excited about Cuomo but I am excited about who else might get in. We shouldn't be lacking in choices that is for sure.

I think we have a huge menu of young Democratic leaders.

But Trump is proving to be a completely different animal.

Thankfully, he seems to be doing a great job of imploding on his own.

Still, we need a candidate you can take him on, and Andrew could excel at that.

Many have already been speculated about including Cuomo. There may also be a few wild cards. but a field of 10-12 candidates seems a distinct possibility.

Just off the top of my head.

I don't agree with all of them on everything, but any of them would be preferable to Cuomo, to my mind.
