I get so sick of that "two sides to every story"crap. That rationalization helped get "intelligent design" in our science rooms.

There aren't two sides to every story. Some stories have five sides, Some only have one. Biased toward fairness means that if the entire congressional republican caucus were to walk into the house and propose a resolution stating that the earth was flat, the "Times" would lead with "Democrats and Republicans can't agree on shape of earth."

2. I love Bill Nye.

He reminds me of my old physics professor in college. Brilliant, yet funny and humble. Someone who loves science because he loves people. We'd be such a better country if there were more people like him. Sadly, he's a rarity.

The CNN model is to label everything the Right hates as "juvenile" and everything the Right loves as "adult".
