Maggie Haberman's interview on Fresh Air about Trump

http://www.npr.org/2017/04/20/524873266/journalist-describes-the-loneliness-and-leakiness-of-trumps-white-house

"The magnitude of the job is sinking in for him," White House correspondent Maggie Haberman says. "The degree to which whatever he does is going to impact millions of people — and the responsibility of that — is slowly settling in."

"The thing that I keep hearing about this president over and over from people close to him is he's very lonely. He is unused to living alone. He has always had someone living with him. He is on his third marriage. He has a young son. He spent, as I said, almost every night in his own bed; it wasn't just about his own bed — it was about the familiarity of his family."

I was in the car for a couple of hours yesterday and listened to the same thing. She seemed to go out of her way to say that he's not as embarrassing when he's more comfortable with things, referring specifically to a movie review he did on the 90s about Citizen Kane.

At one point, she admitted that he "struggles with empathy" - who can only be met with a huge "duh!!" - but that's as far as she was willing to go.

And yet he routinely insults her on Twitter, even going so far as to insult her appearance.

He'll destroy everything......I don't feel in the least sorry for him. I dispise him and all who he's put in power as well.

You know who else has problems in unfamiliar settings, especially at night? People with sundowners syndrome.
