Carter Page, Flinn, Gulliani, and Manafort.

My guess is that Flinn and Manafort are cooperating, and have probably flipped (based on the fact that they were _allowed_ to retroactively register as foreign lobbiest agents). Not registering as a foreign agent is a Felony offense. Those guys would be going to jail otherwise.

Carter Page we suspect was the focus of a FISA court order, meaning they had probable cause already from intelligence (probably gathered by the Baltic states). There are transcipts. He went to Moscow, probably carrying messages and info back and forth between the Trump campaign and Putin.

Guillani was rumored to offer to flip on Trump, but Comey had enough evidence without his testimony (I can't remember where I read that, so not sure if it is a fact).

I suspect Guillani worked with the NY Police and FBI to place those emails on Weiner's laptop. And he couldn't help but brag about it (It is illegal to discuss ongoing cases with active FBI, and he admitted to doing that on the TV) Haven't heard a peep out of him lately though, have we?

So why is that important?

Comey testified to Congress (under oath) when the case vs Hillary was closed without indictment. that if any more emails turned up he would notify congress. So he really had no choice but to notify congress that more emails were found. (but who put them there????)

I suspect the NY Police and FBI colluded with Guillani. They probably threatened Comey they would leak it if he didn't notify congress, which he did, and Congress leaked it to the press (even though no forensics were done yet and they had not yet determined that the emails were just duplicates of what had already been investigated)

I find it pretty interesting that none of these guys are being asked to testify.

was not looking for them to appear before Sen. Intel Cmte, but that's due to my ignorance, of which I have truckloads (no, it's not fun).

I have read about what you described above, and have come to believe what you have written - especially the part about Comey's oath to return re: more emails, and that he had no choice in the matter.

And those NY scum suckers setting him up, oh. grrrrrrrrr

Anyway, appreciate your clear and concise post here, Nic!

In _addition_ to the House and Senate Intelligence Committee hearings, keep in mind that since last summer (maybe longer), the FBI and NSA have been conducting both a counter intelligence (NSA) _and_ a criminal investigation (FBI) - the criminal investigation most likely related to Russian money laundering).

I am certain that there will be more to come, that there will be indictments and trials. The arm of Justice does work rather slowly though. Will it all come out before the mid-terms in 2018? I hope so, because otherwise the mid-terms will be our first hope of getting these crooks out of office.

Now if indictments come out before then, I think the Republicans will suddenly appear like rats leaving a sinking ship, and maybe, just maybe, impeachment hearings will actually be brought by the majority in the House.

The person I'd like to hear the most in the Senate (or even the House) committees is Michael Steele (author of that damning dossier)

those alphabet agencies daily now (which is pretty strange for an old hippie like moi!!) -

No doubt that what we know at this point has got to be just the beginning of untold, gasp-worthy tales of treachery and deceit...boy, I sure don't want to wait one more second, much less till "mid-terms", to start disinfecting our dear country, but...I will persist (patiently? meh) meanwhile!

Oh, what wouldn't we do to get Mr. Steele over here, ohhhh -!

And also, I got educated just last week about NY AG Eric Schneiderman (sp!) and what HE'S been up to!? Oh heaven! It's my understanding he doesn't much care for mobsters in general and badly coiffed vulgarians in particular!? Sweet! - - my new favorite word (it's been "prison" for months now) is "indictments"...

Thanks again, Nic!

If they are indicted at the state level (e.g. NY's AG schneiderman), he can't pardon them.

...and give context to the Muslim ban and the WH efforts to enact a policy she called 'unlawful'.

She should be able to testify about who she informed about Flynn...

Schiff:

“We would urge that the open hearing be rescheduled without further delay and that Ms. Yates be permitted to testify freely and openly so that the public may understand, among other matters, when the President was informed that his national security advisor had misled the Vice President and through him, the country,” he wrote, “and why the President waited as long as he did to fire Mr. Flynn.”

Why did the president wait so long to fire Mr Flynn??

He knew about it for a couple of weeks and did nothing.

How do they explain that?
