When people are conned by a good con man we call them victims. What do you call people

that are conned by a lousy con man? Trump is a lousy con man. He really sucks at it. Trump ripped off contractors over many years. I don't get it. Didn't the word get around? Why would you do work for trump when he had a long history of not paying? He started companies that were a joke. Many failed. People still backed him up. He ran for president and he looked like a complete crazy fool doing it. He won!

The problem is not trump. The problem is there are a lot of people in the world who are complete fools.

Who was it that pointed out you would never go broke underestimating the intelligence of the American voter?

The Right has been waging this war since the attempted coup against FDR. The people who should have taken it seriously didn't. Now the media and everyone else should have taken Chump's race seriously. They didn't.

We have met the enemy and it is us.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

let them down. They didn't get the education they needed. They didn't get the critical thinking skills with an emphasis on self-reflection and awareness that would have served them here. You can blame the communities...its not like there's not blame to go around, but this is also heavily top-down.

he's managed for years to do shady "deals" without ever going to jail or being done in by the mob; he's cheated many people out of millions (e.g., the Trump "University" fraud); he's somehow made people believe he'd pay them for their work despite his history of cheating contractors; he conned a TV network into hosting a dumbass reality show; and worst of all he conned some 60 million people into voting for him. A good con man is one who is able to take advantage of the gullibility of others, and Trump has certainly done that. "There's a sucker born every minute" is the gospel truth.

the lsos has left victims in his wake all of his life. The most recent are all those who have bought his lies.
Each and every word that spews from between his evil lips is a lie.
Every night I watch the news as they attempt to make sense of anything he has done and am constantly reminded how easy he is to figure out. Just assume every statement is a lie and proceed.

Con men have a saying. "It takes two to make a con. The Con-Man and the Mark."

That means people are greedy, and want something for nothing. They'll believe the most outrageous shit, to get rich quick. Trump promised these people shit they wanted and believed they could not get any other way. So they voted for him. All the complaints about racism and sexism did not matter to them one damn bit. And yes, many of them, especially white men (of which I am one), are out and out bigots.

they accept the fact that it is Fox, so it must be the truth. That person at Fox would not lie. Fox is the truth, you know about those left wing media outlets..New York Times..CBS, NBC..etc....

fall for it, but I know more than one who does all the time. The "liberal media" lies all the time... one said she can't stand to watch network news because it's so liberally biased. A friend of mine said they are hypnotized when I posed the question of how intelligent people can fall for it. People have the mistaken idea that they are all FAUX watchers are stupid, but that is not the case. My brother falls for it, and he is very intelligent. It mystifies me.

Other stuff contributed but I believe bigotry, including both racism and sexism, was the dominant force behind this disaster. Everyone knew for years that Trump was a brazen bigot, starting with all the racist birther nonsense if not before.
