First let me say until actually confirmed he received a clearance in 2016. I want independent confirmation. Nothing this WH has done leads me to believe anything they say.
My question during the elections dipshit donnie and his groupies were briefed by the intelligence agencies about things going on. But as brought up at the time they were very "lite" versions of what gets done in the WH. As described by media they were just above what you might find out in the news. I don't think the clearance proceduree are as strict for briefings like that. Wouldn't going to a higher level of information require a stricter clearance procedure. Which would have been dipshit donnie's responsibility. And if flynn wasn't cleared at a higher level could that mean others he brought in who had a "lite" version level of clearance may also not be properly approved?

(7,188 posts)Said had clearance, and as retired military officer, would typically get clearance extended in case they had to ask him about something that occurred when he was in military. So left in 2014, but would re-up clearance in 2016 as part of that extension. Would also had had to update clearance when took NSA job.
In all cases, it was Flynn's responsibility to declare any trips/meetings with foreign government and if took money from foreign government (which he need to have prior permission to take).
In addition, Flynn would need to be vetted by Trump's people, including a FBI background check.
Seriously want to know what Sally Yates told the new WH.

(1,907 posts)I wonder if others who were brought in to the Wh got a "lite" version for election time briefings but never got full clearance? It seems like this WH has very little clue. Bannon, Gorka, etc?
