Born April 29th 84 years ago. I may be a day late but I didn't see any other mention of it. He's 84 and still touring. To keep going like that he must be a believer in herbal medications.

My parents were able to retire and travel; they put 150,000 miles on a motor home travelling all over the country. So.. now that they are passed, they are together forever in the National Cemetery in Portland Oregon. We played Willie at their funerals. and here's the cool part:
The Veterans' Administration allows a line of text on the grave marker; theirs says "On the road again".

I was lucky enough to take two of my kids to see him in 2005 when he was on tour with Bob Dylan.
I love his new song about "I woke up not dead again today".
He also wrote an amazing but not very well known song when W. was getting us into his wars.
