however they have no problem going out and speak to the whole country
Seems that they should only be heard by their districts ......... that would only be fair

I am not sure if a letter is mailed out of their district or state makes it to them or not, I am guessing not.

I tried to contact all of the Representatives during the debt ceiling debate and unless I lied about my address I couldn't do it. Also, when calling I was asked for my address first.

but there's always that strange, old-fashioned innovation called the Post Office. Send a real letter to one of his state offices, not to D.C., because mail to the offices in Washington is delayed a few days while it goes through security screening. I was told once by a staffer for my state rep. that they assign a little more weight to paper letters because of the extra effort it takes to write and send one.
