but first they demand an amendment to the light bulb bill stipulating that life begins 5 seconds before conception (a time more commonly known to Republicans as "During Foreplay&quot .

One to screw in the bulb, and five to complain about how much better the old bulb was. Unless they are the Romneys, Addlesons, Ricketts, etg., in which case they get the help to screw in the bulb.

At least 48.

One troll to blame Obama for the burnout of the previous bulb because of his War on Incandescents.

35 DUers to complain within the first thirty seconds about how dark it is in here.

One DUer to post a poll (with a completely unrelated agenda) about the wattage of the new bulb.

One DUer to alert on the bulb because the burnout was disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

Three DUers to clamor to serve on the jury, only to find that they have clicked the link too late and that the light bulb jury has already been seated.

Three DUers to vote that they see nothing wrong with the light bulb's behavior and to let it stand.

Three DUers to vote to hide the bulb -- no explanation given.

And Skinner, who despite the other 47, changes the bulb less than a minute after the old bulb burned out.

If that lightbulb was good enough for Ben Franklin it's damn sure good enough for them and no islamo-commie Kenyan Muslim is going to tell them they can't sit in the dark and complain about it at the top of their lungs.

218 Republican congresscritters to pass a bill for the light bulb change
10 Republicans to join 51 Democrats to pass the bill after the House passes it (53 Dems, minus RW tools Lieberman and Nelson, plus 10 Repubes, to overcome a reflexive filibuster by the Senate Republicans)
1 contractor to actually change the bulb
1 Treasury Department bureaucrat to pay $5,000 for the service, because the contractor is a Republican Party donor.

About the baggers outside with signs claiming "Fix Old, No New".
And Glen Beck and Limbaugh telling their viewers that the bulb was still working, but this is a conspiracy to take away your right to use a good Christian bulb.

None. When tea-baggers see a dim bulb they elect it to Congress.
