What "turbulence" is he speaking of? I think we all know, and I think his agents know what he is asking of them.

..."the way it was executed." Sounds awfully angry to me. The whole thing does.

We'll see.

This was pretty carefully crafted, IMO, and not in a way that will benefit Donald Trump, whose name he seemingly couldn't bring himself to mention.

Oh man, anyone who quotes Zevon goes way up in my book.
Who need Nostradomas? We've got the great Warren Zevon!

"The way it was executed" was for his people. Reports are they're more than a little angry over how his firing was done.

I think this was his way if saying, 'I'm angry too, but you've got work to do. Don't let the crazy man in White House intimidate you. Be the that rock, uphold the law.'

Not in the violent sense, of couse, but in the sense of calling for action, enaction a predetermined plan.

I find this letter fascinating. Whatever it is, a good-natured and heartfelt fade into the sunset it is not.

but I wanted him to stay and do this job. I think generally, he's trustworthy, expecting the best of everyone. I hate that he's been dismissed now, but it may lead to some good.

My hope is that you will continue to live our values and the mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution. If you do that, you too will be sad when you leave, and the American people will be safer.

This suggests there are more firings to come because they are close to putting the pieces together.

Team Trump is fishing and firing everywhere because they don't understand how government works or how an FBI investigation of this magnitude is conducted. There's not just one person handing everything. He fired Sally Yates and the investigation continued. He fired Preet Bharara and the investigation continued. He's now fired James Comey and guess what? The investigation will continue.

That's Comey's message to his agents and staff. If you're fired, so be it. Protect the American people and uphold the Constitution.

I think they will answer. And if Sessions refuses to prosecute, I believe they will leak to the news media. In fact, I think that's what is going to blow this thing wide open.

That came off like it was written by a spoiled 10 year old brat.

I don't care what you think about Comey, he did not deserve to be treated the way he was by Trump. Trump is a low class piece of shit, his parents did a terrible job raising him.
