General Discussion

Since there is very little chance of our own government ever taking Trump out, what are the chances of foreign governments interfering in getting rid of our president? He is a threat to international peace, economic stability and in general a global menace. Could there ever be a chance that other western powers could remove him from office? We have removed other world leaders from office, why can't they do it to us.
Seriously, I don't know. I just want to know what the possibilities are.

But, it may be that Western democracies like France and Germany may need to take subversive measures to counter what Russia has done within the U.S.
I don't know the answer to your question. It could be considered an act of war if another country removed our head of state (physically).

Trump is the worst president ever. Mike Pence may not be quite as bad but I have very grave doubts about him.
The problem is the whole gang of them stink, are corrupt, many apparently also mixed up financially with the Russians and many of them would be charting the country in the same general direction.
It's a pretty sad circumstance.

(17,006 posts)but I am hoping they will save us from this disaster for the exact reasons you cite. I think the French election going the way it did played into Twitler's decision to fire Comey. I know that's a leap but I think he was counting on France swinging hard right to bolster his support here. That France so totally rejected that ideology has left him swinging in the breeze. Twitler is doing what he always does when angry, he lashes out the same way a toddler does, at whatever is closest so Comey had to go.

(25,183 posts)no matter what an asshole he is, would allow him carte blanche to unleash the entire force of our military against anyone who would try such a thing. And I don't see any military opposition to him under those circumstances.
What gets rid of Trump is the Republican Party; once they see him as much more of a liability than someone to be feared, they will start impeachment proceedings, knowing full well they will have the support of many Democratic Representatives and Senators. Of course, that goes for as long as they are in control, once control is wrested from them, in 2018, then it is guaranteed to happen.

(25,183 posts)It will be increasingly difficult for GOP'ers to defend, or even refuse to go after Trump. At some point, they will have to see him as much more of a liability than as any possible asset, and then the floor falls out underneath him. They'd much rather go into 2020 with Pence than someone so very unpredictable.
He's made a total and complete ass of himself in less than four months of his term, by the one year point, he will be absolutely unbearable for GOP'ers looking towards November 2018.

What about some future Democratic President is very disliked. Could he / she be removed?
I would say the possibility is Zero.
